Jorge Sandoval, a Principal Consultant at CBS, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 20 years in manufacturing operations. His journey began in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served for six years in various locations, honing his leadership skills. This military background would later prove invaluable in his consulting career, guiding teams through improvement events and implementations. His entry into the automotive industry saw him develop and implement flow optimization manufacturing routes at major corporations including ZF TRW, Tremec, and Bocar.
Jorge’s passion for improvement led him to consulting, where he has excelled in fostering continuous improvement in several plants, particularly during his tenure at ALPLA Group, Mexico. As a TPM Champion for Mexico and Central America, he led the transformation in plastic extrusion and injection processes. As the Supply Chain Director for Ideal Industries, he significantly reduced production defects and customer complaints while continuously training teams across two plants in lean processes.
A certified Lean Six Sigma professional, Jorge’s expertise in Lean Manufacturing tools and Management Systems is impressive. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he leverages his academic background as an Electronic Technology Engineer from the University of Grantham to provide unique and analytical perspectives to his clients.
Aside from his professional life, Jorge is a dedicated family man. He enjoys spending quality time with his son and wife, particularly playing tennis—a hobby they’ve cultivated as a family tradition over the past few years.
