With a career spanning over 25 years in public accounting, Jennifer Peoples, CPA, CGMA, serves as a Controller with a meticulous approach to her work. Renowned for her ability to gain comprehensive understanding of her clients’ operations and business environments, Jennifer has achieved extraordinary success in aiding her clients to reach their objectives and enhance their organizations. She currently oversees accounting functions for a diversified portfolio of businesses as their outsourced controller, with her reach extending from technology to New Jersey solid waste industries.

Jennifer’s extensive experience encompasses a broad spectrum of accounting and tax matters associated with closely held businesses, including but not limited to, compilations and reviews of financial statements and the implementation of computerized accounting systems. In her former roles, Jennifer served as an Accounting instructor at Hudson County Community College and also as the Director of Administration and Financial Management for Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. Over her illustrious career, Jennifer has adeptly managed an array of financial processes, including preparing business and personal taxes, analyzing budgets, overseeing billing practices, negotiating with local unions, and managing financial duties such as payroll, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable, and cash management.
